Travel Insurance |
In addition to just Cancellation Insurance, we also highly recommend that you buy MEDICAL EMERGENCY Insurance to supplement your existing health insurance.
It is in your own interest that you are covered in case of an accident, and/or for any medical assistance you may need while abroad.
We ask you to review our Travel Insurance Info which we will mail out to you with your invoice upon receipt of the deposit.
To be valid, the insurance must be purchased upon payment of balance. |

GENERAL TRIP RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the diverse and specialized nature of our trips and itineraries, different reservation and cancellation policies will apply.
Please contact us directly to find out our policy for the trip that interests you.
For our Trips, our Reservation & Cancellation policy is as follows.
Variations of this general policy applies to all SBBT programs.
Pricing

Since we are a Canadian based company, all our prices are in CANADIAN Dollars.
We accept payment in US dollars at the exchange rate in effect at the time of payment. |

A single supplement applies to individual travelers who wish a private room throughout the trip. |
 |
On our trips in Canada, the Goods & Service tax of 7% applies on the overall trip price. A partial refund of tax amount can be recuperated by non-residents through Canada Customs. |
Reservations

To sign up for a Steve Bauer Bike Tours Inc. trip, you may fill out our trip reservation form available on this website OR, you may download the following forms:
Please fax us the completed form including your credit card information for the deposit to our office FAX number 905-563 9697. |

The DEPOSIT amount for every trip is CAN. $1000.00 per person. Deposits may be made by Money Order or Bank Draft in Canadian Dollars OR by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). |

By sending your completed reservation form and payment of deposit, you certify that you do not have any physical condition or disability that would create a hazard to you or other travellers. Upon receipt we will confirm your spot and mail you our invoice outlining the balance owing. |

The BALANCE of the trip cost is due in our office by 90 days prior to departure. With your authorization, we can automatically process the balance on your credit card when it is due. If we have not received the balance by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your trip. Our cancellation policy automatically applies. |
Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your reservation, the following cancellation fees will apply:

Guests who fail to provide the signed "Release of Liability & Acknowledgement of Risk" and Personal Information forms prior to trip departure will not be allowed to join the trip and our standard cancellation policy as described above will apply. |

There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. |

If you wish to switch to a different trip, you may do so up to 61days prior to the original Trip Start Date. A Can.$200.00 admin fee will be charged immediately. You can only switch trips within the same calendar year, and of course such change is subject to availability. |

Steve Bauer Bike Tours Inc. reserves the right to cancel any trip due to low enrolment, or if we feel that the quality of the trip or the safety of travellers would be compromised. In such case, refund of all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement. |

Steve Bauer Bike Tours Inc. cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable air tickets, extra expenses due to travel delays, flight cancellation or illness. |
