Our SBBT Trips
At Steve Bauer Bike Tours we believe that each cyclist should set their own pace! All of our trips are fully supported by experienced, trained guides and support vehicles equipped with state-of-the art mobile communications, so if "your own pace" means optional extra speed or distance, our team will know just the right route for you, or even if you need a break from riding, the van will be there for you just on time.

Come one, Come All...
Our Trips are designed for more avid cyclists of above average fitness. The routes on our Trips range from flat to challenging hills, and distances range from 30 to 120 km a day, with the occasional optional longer ride on certain itineraries. Our Trips include SBBT Training Camps and unique itineraries created by us around major international biking events such as the Tour de France, the Giro d'Italia, and the World Cycling Championships. Participants on Our Trips generally bring their own road bike, although we can provide a bike on request.
We hand-pick the right guides for each of our trips. We ensure that the guides on every SBBT Trip has superior cycling skills, so they can guide, motivate and teach you as they help you improve your cycling skills. We also take special care to ensure your guides have the necessary level of experience, first aid and safety skills, bike mechanic and repair knowledge.
Apart from our specially-trained cycling guides, Our Trips are also often supported by additional drivers and support vehicles to transport luggage and bike boxes and, for example, in the case of the Tour de France trip, to scout the route the night before to secure the best viewing locations, so after you've biked along the Tour route, you can simply stow your bike and view the racers as they arrive.
While we'd love it if Steve could guide every single SBBT trip, he's only able to guide a limited number of trips per year. One thing is for sure, Steve personally designs, supervises and leads all SBBT Training Camps and Tour de France Trips. Steve can also lead special custom trips on any of our existing itineraries, or to a destination of your choice. Feel free to call and inquire about Steve's availability.
Many of Our Trip participants come back year after year and we are constantly researching new itineraries and destinations to feed their -- and our -- passion for biking.
